Amy was named President of Profiles in May 2015. She has more than 10 years of experience developing and implementing successful communications programs for Profiles’ clients. Amy has been instrumental in the growth of the company, playing an active role in Profiles’ business development programs and mentoring Profiles’ employees.
She has been recognized by The Daily Record as one of its 2016 VIPs, an award honoring professionals under 40 years of age who have made significant contributions to their industry and the community, and as one of its 2013 Leading Women, an award that honors 50 women who are 40 years of age or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. In 2010, Amy was recognized by PR News‘ as one of its “15 to Watch.”
Prior to joining Profiles in 2003, Amy was a public relations associate for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She worked at Baltimore magazine as an editorial and fashion intern for several semesters during college. Additionally, she was a marketing assistant following graduation.
Amy was born and raised in Baltimore City and is now a resident of Towson, Md. She graduated from Western High School and the University of Maryland, College Park. While at the University of Maryland, Amy was initiated into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honors society.
Amy has donated her time to many organizations over the years including the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital as a gala committee member since 2016; The ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore as an active volunteer for various programs since 2012; Baltimore School for the Arts as a member of the Stage One board from 2006 to 2016; the Saint Agnes Foundation as marketing chair for the organization’s annual gala from 2007 to 2010 and as a member of the Foundation Nominating Committee from 2007 to 2011. Amy is currently a member of the Baltimore Public Relations Council.
