Amy Elias is the founder and president of Profiles, Inc., and has more than 30 years of public relations and marketing experience. Since founding Profiles in 1985, Amy has built a firm dedicated to advancing clients’ messages and achieving their goals through the development and implementation of comprehensive communications programs. As president of Profiles, Amy guides the company’s strategic direction as a multi-faceted communications firm. Under her leadership, the firm has established solid client relationships and maintains critical partnerships with community and business leaders from throughout the region.
Amy Burke Friedman
As vice president for Profiles, Amy brings more than 10 years of experience in public relations to the team. Amy develops strategic media relations plans that help clients achieve their goals and also supports Profiles' business development programs. She generates and obtains media coverage for clients, develops and coordinates special events, creates and manages social media opportunities, and develops programs for clients designed to generate and maintain a favorable public image. In addition, Amy is instrumental in making the office run smoothly on a daily basis.
Since joining Profiles in 2005, Jamie has been highly successful in advancing client messages through strategic communication programs. In her role as vice president, Jamie manages media relations programs, coordinates special events, develops grassroots marketing initiatives and handles social media efforts for a variety of clients.
As a senior account manager, Marianne is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of her clients including developing strategic public relations and marketing plans that help clients achieve their goals. She has great relationships with members of the media including local print, television and radio, as well as national business publications. Marianne is currently working with the Parking Authority of Baltimore City, University of Baltimore, Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, The Baltimore Station and Gordon & Wolf, Chtd. Additionally, she supports the agency’s new business program.
As a senior account manager, Lindsay provides communications expertise to a variety of clients including the American Craft Council, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Klein Enterprises, Maryland Office of Oral Health, Parking Authority of Baltimore City, Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore and Y of Central Maryland. In this role, she plans public relations campaigns, pitches and secures media opportunities, coordinates special events, conceptualizes social media campaigns and develops press materials. She is also plays an active role in the company's business development program.
As an account executive, Christina assists in the development of public relations campaigns, writing press materials, pitching and securing media opportunities, managing social media efforts and coordinating special events for clients.
Annie Truax
As an account executive at Profiles, Annie works directly with senior management on the media outreach, social media, special events and partnership/promotions efforts on behalf of a variety of clients and projects.
Marnie Baddock
As a junior account executive, Marnie assists the company in strategizing and developing public relations campaigns, writing press materials, implementing social media campaigns, as well as organizing and facilitating special events for clients.
