MEET BRIDGET FORNEY

VICE PRESIDENT

Bridget brings more than a decade of national media relations, multi-channel marketing and digital strategy experience working on behalf of local, regional and national brands to her role as vice president. As vice president, Bridget manages accounts creating and implementing strategic communications programs and leveraging her knowledge of media markets in national DMAs for clients. She also supports PROFILES’ business development programs and digital media initiatives.

Bridget’s return to the PROFILES team in 2017 was predicated by her nearly five-year tenure at PROFILES beginning in 2008 when she managed several accounts, brands, partnerships, and events while generating positive exposure for client programs and initiatives through strategic communications campaigns.

Prior to rejoining PROFILES, Bridget led regional and national marketing, PR and crisis communications programs at Kiddie Academy, a national leader in educational childcare with close to 200 franchised locations nationwide. There, she supported all of the franchisor’s new academies with media and community relations throughout the construction process, as well as PR initiatives for its corporate office and 186 open and operating locations. Leading up to her work with Kiddie Academy, Bridget represented several brands including Snyder’s-Lance, Roland Park Place and the Foundation for the Baltimore County Public Library, among others.

Bridget's compelling PR and digital work on behalf of brands like Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels, PANDORA Jewelry, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Baltimore magazine, the Baltimore School for the Arts, The National Aquarium, the United States Army Chief of Public Affairs and others earned campaign accolades from industry organizations like the American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, and the American Advertising Federation and earned her recognition from the Public Relations Society of America as New Professional of the Year in 2010; The Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 20 in Their Twenties in 2015; as well as from PRNews as a nationally-recognized Rising PR Star in 2016.

Her crisis and issues communications work encompasses consumer product contamination and recalls; community relations; viral video broadcasts; online consumer campaigns; online review response; sensitive employment matters; incidents involving injuries and health matters; investigations by licensing and state representatives; public affairs; and CEO transitions/leadership succession.

Bridget also serves on the Baltimore Public Relations Council board and is a Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library Innovator. She is a graduate of Stevenson University and resides in Bel Air, Md.
